Howard ‘Randy’ Roush

He was born June 1, 1956, in Decatur, Indiana, to Clyde and Jane (Smith) Roush, who preceded him in death. He attended Lincolnview Local Schools from second grade on. He first married Sandy McCoy, who survives, and then Jeanie Sarver, who preceded him in death.

He was employed at Braun Industries, where his co-workers were also friends. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking, and crafting. He was an excellent carpenter like his grandfather, Howard Roush. He was also an avid hunter who looked forward to hunting with his son, Jeremy, and his best friend, Barry.

Howard was a quiet, kind man. He loved spending time with family and friends and loved his family, especially his sons and grandchildren.

He is survived by sons Jeremy (Jamie) Roush of Delaware (Ohio) and Jason (Kim) Roush of Cincinnati; a stepson, Mike (Michelle) Sarver of rural Middle Point; grandchildren Rae Ann Adams, Jerett Roush, Jacob and Josie Roush, and Nicole and Maria Sarver; sisters Lana (Art Lucas) German of Wetzel and Cheryl Smith of rural Middle Point; nieces Trisha Carter and Fara Lare; nephews Joshua, Matthew, and Adam Ricker, and their families; and his best friend of 50 years, Barry McDowell of Van Wert.

Howard was loved by all who ever met him. He will be missed, but would not want anyone to be sad or heavy hearted by his passing.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Rest in peace, Howard, we love you.

Arrangements were handled by Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.
