Bill Dean Kirchenbauer

Bill Dean Kirchenbauer, 87, of Celina, passed away at 6:26 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born December 29, 1928, in Wren, the son of Harold and Minnie Bernice (Allen) Kirchenbauer, who both preceded him in death. On November 29, 1947, he married Martha Jane (Eyanson) Kirchenbauer, who also preceded him in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Darlene (Don) Mottinger of Ohio City; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A brother, Ervin “Bud” Kirchenbauer, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 8, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, at the funeral home.
