Elections Board has more primary info

The Van Wert County Board of Elections notes that not all county voters will be voting, either during the early voting period or at their polling location, for the primary election on Tuesday, May 2.

There are no candidates for Democrat voters in Delphos, Jennings (Delphos City Schools), or Van Wert city precincts. In Van Wert, there is a contested race for city treasurer on the Republican ticket.

All voters have the option of voting an “issues only” ballot.

Delphos city voters have a renewal on income for parks and recreation and Delphos City Schools and Jennings Township (Delphos School District portion) a renewal for current expenses for the schools. Van Wert has an income tax increase for general operating expenses.
