Christmas Garden donation

Van Wert Lodge 1197, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, recently made a donation of $100 towards the 2017 Children’s Christmas Garden. This year’s lighting will take place Wednesday, November 22. The Christmas Garden is where imagination becomes reality in a place that looks like the Wizard of Oz married Willy Wonka and gave birth to Babes in Toyland. Plans for the 2017 lighting will include candy canes, lollypops, cookies, and hot chocolate for all. Of course, there will be a visit from Santa, his Elves, and Oz character Oh and a few surprise guests. Music will be provided by Eric and Stan Burk with ESB Pro Audio. Each year the committee looks for something new that would bring the imagination of the child out in the Christmas Garden. Van Wert Lodge is proud to be able to assist with this project.
