Student Athlete of the Week nominations

Van Wert independent sports

All area winter sports coaches — bowling, basketball, swimming and wrestling — along with athletic directors are encouraged to send nominations for the Van Wert independent/Northwest Ohio Welch Trophy Student-Athlete of the week to: sports@thevwindependent.com.

Due to this week’s holiday, the time to send nominations has been extended by one day to Wednesday at 12 p.m. One name will be picked and the winner will receive a T-shirt from Northwest Ohio Welch Trophy, 1034 Westwood Drive, Van Wert, and will be featured on Friday at www.thevwindependent.com.
