Y seeks Aqua Park Business Day sponsors

The YMCA is beginning to book dates for the 2018 Business Day season at the Camp Clay Aqua Park.

YMCA officials also thanked the community and local businesses for supporting the 2017 Aqua Park summer season. The season was a great success with many day’s attendance totaling more than 300 kids and families. The fully staffed water recreation facility includes many one-of-a-kind activities, including a water zipline, paddle boards, inflatable water toys, paddle boats, canoes, a playground, a sandy beach, and the 3,600-square-foot splash pad.

The YMCA Aqua Park also added a “Business Day Out” option to give businesses an opportunity to sponsor a day at the aqua park to help advertise their business and give back to the community. The aqua park had such overwhelming support from Van Wert’s great local businesses that it was able to offer 40 business days that allowed community members to enjoy the Aqua Park at a reduced admission this past summer offering families a fun environment to spend quality time together.

The 2017 Aqua Park business-sponsored days are back by popular demand and will be 4 days a week offering a total of 47 business-sponsored days this season!  This summer we will have extended hours on business days from Noon until Six p.m.  This will give MORE time for businesses to interact with the community and for the patrons to enjoy the Aqua Park.

This summer’s business-sponsored days are ready to begin booking. These days will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with the choice to purchase hot dogs, drinks, and more as additional options for business day sponsors as well.
