Linda S. Prowse

Linda S. Prowse, 67, of rural Convoy, died at 8:35 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center (Dupont Road) in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born March 18, 1950, in St. Marys, the daughter of Donald W. and Virginia M. (Veit) Dicke, who both preceded her in death. On July 18, 2000, she married James G. Prowse, who survives at the residence.

Linda retired from Century Link phone company in Decatur, Indiana. She was a 1968 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School and earned an associate’s degree in Lima.

Survivors include two sons, Greg (Gabrielle Chavarria) Mitchener of Convoy and Brian (Tracy) Mitchener of Huntertown, Indiana; a stepson, Chad T. (Melissa) Prowse of Maineville; one stepdaughter, Miranda I. Prowse of Fort Wayne; four brothers, Gary Dicke of Seymour, Tennessee, Bruce Dicke of Decatur, Indiana, David Dicke of Ohio City, and Doug Dicke of Decatur; six grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
