Elks donate food

The Van Wert Lodge 1197, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Golf Committee recently held a free burger night for lodge members. The price of admission was a food or household item to be donated to The Salvation Army in Van Wert for its food bank. The lodge donated more than 430 food items to the Salvation Army. These items will help many families in need throughout Van Wert County and help restock the Salvation Army Food Pantry.
