Phyllis Ainsworth

Phyllis Ainsworth, 96, of Ohio City, passed away Saturday evening, January 27, 2018, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born November 28, 1921, in Van Wert County, the daughter of Ada Doyt and Nellie (Rice) Prichard, who both preceded her in death. On December 15, 1938, she married John Fred Ainsworth, who died April 20, 1994.

Survivors include two sons, Donald (Nancy) Ainsworth of Wapakoneta and Mike (Connie) Ainsworth of Ohio City; two daughters, Dora (John H.) Hoffman of Ohio City and Barbara Mager of Danbury, Texas; a brother, Doyt (Jeannette) Prichard of Spencerville; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

A sister, Beth Seelig, and three brothers, Neil Prichard, William D. Prichard, and Robert Roehm, also preceded her in death.

There will be private services at the convenience of the family.
