Crestview 63 Celina 45 (boys)

Crestview raced out to a 32-13 halftime lead and went on to defeat the host Celina Bulldogs 63-45 on Saturday night.

Javin Etzler was one of four Knights to finish in double figures. The 6-7 junior had 14 points and six rebounds, while Derick Dealey had 13 points including three triples. Derek Stout and Jace Vining each finished with 12 points.

Celina’s Kole Murlin led all scorers with 15 points to go along with eight rebounds.

Crestview (12-3) has won eight straight and will play at Lincolnview on Friday night.

Lincolnview 63 Parkway 52 (boys)

The Lincolnview Lancers posted their fourth consecutive victory with Saturday’s 63-52 victory over Parkway.

The win boosted Lincolnview’s overall record to 10-5, while Parkway fell to 7-8.

Lincolnview led 13-10 at the end of the first quarter and 33-23 at halftime. Chayten Overholt scored 11 of his game high 19 points in the first two quarters, while Caden Ringwald scored eight of his 15 points in the opening half. Kemler scored 10 in the first half, and went on to finish with 14 points and eight rebounds.

The Lancers extended their lead to 48-35 at the end of three quarters.

Lincolnview finished 25 of 40 (63 percent) from the floor and 10 of 14 (71 percent) from the free throw line.

Parkway hit 18 of 40 shots (45 percent) and 12 of 21 (57 percent) foul shots. Caleb Kinney lead the Panthers with 18 points.
Parkway will host Coldwater on Friday, while the Lancers will host Crestview in a first place Northwest Conference showdown on Friday night.

Lincolnview 48 Parkway 40 (girls)

Olivia Gorman’s 13 points led Lincolnview past Parkway 48-40 on Saturday night.

Lakin Brant chipped in with nine and Alena Looser had eight points as the Lady Lancers improved 7-10 overall. Parkway dropped to 8-8.

Lincolnview led 24-23 at halftime, then outscored the Lady Panthers 24-17 in the second half.

The Lady Lancers will host Delphos St. John’s on Tuesday.
