Girls hoops tournament pairings set

Pairings have been set for OHSAA girls’ basketball sectional tournaments. Local matchups are listed below.

Division II at Spencerville High School

St. Marys will play Shawnee at 6:15 p.m. February 20, followed by Van Wert and Elida at approximately 8 p.m.

The St. Marys/Shawnee winner will play Bath in the upper bracket sectional championship game at 6 p.m. February 24, and the Van Wert/Elida winner will square off against Defiance in the lower bracket sectional title game at 8 p.m. the same night.

Division III at Lincolnview High School

In the lone game of the night at Lincolnview, the Crestview Lady Knights will open sectional play against Patrick Henry. The game will tipoff at 7 p.m. February 20, and the winner will play Hicksville for the upper bracket sectional title at 6 p.m. on February 20.

Division IV at Paulding High School

Top seeded Ottoville will play Hardin Northern at 6:15 p.m. February 20, followed by No. 6 seed Lincolnview and No. 7 seed Delphos St. John’s.

The Ottoville/Hardin Northern winner will play Pandora-Gilboa in the upper bracket sectional championship game at 6 p.m. February 24, followed by the Lincolnview/Delphos St. John’s winner and Delphos Jefferson in the lower bracket sectional championship game.
