Lady Lancers surge past Fort Jennings

FORT JENNINGS — A strong second quarter sparked Lincolnview to a 54-45 road win against Fort Jennings on Monday night.

The Lady Lancers trailed 21-16 when Alena Looser hit a trey, then Olivia Gorman drained consecutive triples to give Lincolnivew a 25-21 lead. Gorman followed up with a pair of buckets and Maddie Gorman hit a basket that extended Lincolnview’s lead to 31-22.

Fort Jennings outscored the Lady Lancers 10-7 in the third quarter to narrow the gap to 38-33, but Lincolnview outscored the Muskateers 16-12 in the fourth period to secure the win.

Olivia Gorman led the way with 19 points and Looser finished with 12.

Lincolnview (9-11, 1-5 NWC) will host Ada (4-14, 0-6 NWC) on Thursday.
