Sectional tourney pairings this Sunday

OHSAA sectional boys’ basketball pairings will be released this Sunday afternoon. Below is a breakdown of local teams and their divisions, projected No. 1 seeds and sectional and district locations.

Division II

The field consists of Van Wert, Bath, Bryan, Celina, Defiance, Elida, Kenton, Maumee, Napoleon, Scott, Shawnee, St. Mary’s and Wapakoneta, Wauseon (14 teams). Wauseon (No. 1 in Division II) will be the top seed.

Sectional semifinal and final games will be played at Lima Sr. and Findlay High School, with winners advancing to the Ohio Northern University district.

Division III

This field is comprised of 13 teams: Paulding, Bluffton, Coldwater, Elmwood, Fairview, Fort Recovery, Delphos Jefferson, Liberty-Benton, Lima Central Catholic, Ottawa-Glandorf, Spencerville, Tinora and Van Buren. Ottawa-Glandorf will be the No. 1 seed.

Sectional games will be played at Elida and Miller City, with winners moving on to the Lima Sr. district.

Division IV

The field is made up of 11 teams: Crestview, Lincolnview, Antwerp, Ayersville, Continental, Fort Jennings, Hicksville, Ottoville, Parkway, St. John’s and Wayne Trace. Crestview is projected to be the top seed.

Sectional semifinal and championship games will be played at Paulding and Van Wert. Winners will advance to the Elida district.
