First softball rankings released

A area softball team is ranked No. 1 in the state in the first poll released by the Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association.

The Parkway Lady Panthers (6-1, 1-1 Midwest Athletic Conference) are the top ranked team in Division IV. A second MAC team, Minster (9-3, 2-0) is ranked No. 10 in the initial poll.

Top ranked teams in each division are: Lebanon (Division I), LaGrange Keystone (Division II), Warren Champion (Division III) and Parkway (Division IV).
