Wayne Trace 8 Van Wert 2

The visiting Raiders rallied from a late 2-1 deficit to defeat Van Wert 8-2 on Wednesday.

Wayne Trace scored five runs in the top of the sixth and two more in the seventh to improve to 5-0 on the ACME season.

Korbin Slade led the Raiders with three hits (including a double) and two RBI, while Reid Miller had a pair of hits and three RBI.

Meanwhile, the Cougars (2-2) finished with just two hits, one each by Jalen McCracken and Lennon Bartley.

Lincolnview 7 Delphos Jefferson 0

The Lancers improved to 3-3-1 on the season with a 7-0 home win over Delphos Jefferson on Wednesday.

Ethan Kemler each had hits for Lincolnview, while Kemler, Thad Walker, and Creed Jessee each scored runs.

The Lancers will play at Van Wert on Friday.

Crestview 6 Delphos St. John’s 5

Brant Richardson had two hits and two RBI, including the game winner during Wednesday’s 6-5 victory over the host Blue Jays.

Richardson’s second hit came in the top of the seventh, and it scored Logan Gerardot.

Trevor Sheets also had a pair of hits to go along with three RBI, while Kole Small pitched five innings and allowed five hits. Kaden Short secured the win in relief.

Crestview (2-2) is slated to play at Wayne Trace today.
