Marcia Ann (Severn) Stuckey Darras

Marcia Ann (Severn) Stuckey Darras, 85,of Van Wert, died June 18, 2018, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born October 12, 1932, in Van Wert, the daughter of Grace Viola (Dreyer) Severn and Sylvanus Budd (Dane) Severn, who both preceded her in death. On October 13, 1951 she married Jack “E” Stuckey, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Van Wert; and he also preceded her in death. On July 3, 1972, she married James Darras, who is also deceased.

Survivors include a son, S. Bruce Stuckey and his fiancée, Denise Brown, of St. Marys; two sisters, Betty Weddle and Marge Clouse, both of Van Wert; one brother, Robert (Lois) Severn of Minster; and three grandchildren.

A son, Barry J. Stuckey; one sister, Coralie Wilson; four brothers-in-law, Robert Wilson, Regis Clouse, Ralph Speakman, and Frank Weddle; and two half-sisters, Mary Elizabeth (Severn) Kennedy and Ruth Alice (Severn) Bowsher, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Monday, June 25, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Private family burial will be held in Ridge Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.

Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Community Health Professionals Home Care & Hospice, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Van Wert, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
