VW Football Camp to be held in July

There is still time to register for the 2018 Van Wert Cougar Youth Football Camp, which will be held July 23-25 at the Van Wert High School football practice fields.

The annual camp, will run from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each day, and is open to students entering kindergarten through the eighth grade.

Activities will include offensive/defensive and special teams instruction, flex and agility drills, plus a competition and awards day with tug-o-war, combine testing, punt, pass and kick and an Air Force football tournament.

Campers should wear a t-shirt and shorts. Cleats are recommended, but not required.

The cost of the Cougar Youth Football Camp is $25, which includes a t-shirt or football. Registration must be done by July 9, to guarantee a t-shirt.
