John A. Wanner

John A. Wanner, 68, of Rockford, formerly of Columbus, died at 3:50 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2018, at the Laurels of Shane Hill, where he had been a patient.

He was born June 27, 1950, in Columbus, the son of John and Mary Catherine (Breen) Wanner, who both preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, Timothy Wanner of Illinois and Matthew (Kristina) Wanner of Monee, Illinois. Also surviving are three brothers, two sisters, and three grandchildren.

John will be cremated and then taken to Illinois for a private family service.
