Soccer: Cougars rout Spencerville

Van Wert exploded for six goals in a 6-1 non-conference soccer win over Spencerville on Wednesday.

Gabe Steyer led the Cougars with three goals, while Jake Lautzenheiser had a goal and an assist. Marshall Healey and Ryan Chen each scored a goal, and Jacob Hart had an assist.

Van Wert will play Cory-Rawson at Mapfre Stadium in Columbus Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
