Nominations are being accepted for the first Van Wert independent/Northwest Ohio Welch Trophy Student Athlete of the Week for the 2018-2019 winter sports season.

Area coaches and athletic directors may email nominations to sports@thevwindependent.com. Nominations must be received by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, and the winner will be featured on Friday.
