Attention area winter sports coaches and athletic directors: nominations are being accepted for this week’s Van Wert independent/Northwest Ohio Welch Trophy Student Athlete of the Week. Nominations must be submitted to sports@thevwindependent.com by 12 p.m. on Tuesday. The winner will be featured on Friday.
