Phyllis A. (Wiseman) Turner

Phyllis A. (Wiseman) Turner, 90, of Van Wert, passed away at 9:08 a.m. Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Willow Ridge in Bluffton.

She was born April 16, 1929, in Van Wert, the daughter of Ralph Edwin and Leota May (Hurst) Wiseman, who both preceded her in death. On August 25, 1946, she married Donald E. Turner, who died July 30, 2012. 

Survivors include four children, David M. (Claudia) Turner of Winona Lake, Indiana, Marlene S. (David) Jerome of Grove City, Rosemary (John) Good of Bluffton, and Lyle (Miriam) Turner of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania; a daughter-in-law, Chrisanne Turner of Van Wert; one brother, James F. (Margaret) Wiseman of Van Wert; a sister-in-law, Donna Helm; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A son, Glenn E. Turner; and one brother-in-law, Glenn Helm, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, December 13, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Dick Potter and Kathy Brauen officiating. Burial will follow in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.
