Cougar swimmers compete in Portland

PORTLAND (IN) — Van Wert’s swimmers traveled to Jay County High School in Portland Indiana for the annual Celina Sprint Invitational on Saturday. 186 swimmers represented teams from Indiana and Ohio. Van Wert boys finished in fifth place.

St. Marys took first place for the boys and Celina emerged as the girls champion. Other schools participating included Minster, Jay County High School, New Bremen, Botkins, Fort Recovery, Coldwater, Fort Loramie, and St. Henry.
