Kathy Ann Sink

Kathy Ann “Gertie” Sink, 69, of Van Wert, passed away at 12:48 p.m. Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center surrounded by her family.

She was born March 4, 1950, in Van Wert, the daughter of Herman Lawrence and Gloria Jean (King) Stittsworth, who both preceded her in death. On October 4, 1969, she married George Allen Sink, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include three daughters, Jenny Easley of Bryan, and Becky (Bill) Lehman and Mandi (Scott) Schnipke, both of Van Wert; two sisters, Karen Madison of Van Wert and Kris Bozymski of Westerville; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.   

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 30, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Chris Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert. 

Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, December 29, at the funeral home.
