James L. Spridgeon

James L. Spridgeon, 74, passed away at 6:48 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2020, at his home in Van Wert.

He was born July 12, 1945, in Van Wert, the son of Leo Leonard and Cora Evelyn (Johnson) Spridgeon, who both preceded him in death. On March 3, 1972, he married the former Jean Mosier, who survives.

Other survivors include his children, Kara N. (Brian) Binkley of Lima and Kirk Spridgeon of Avon, Indiana; three grandchildren; and a sister, Marilyn (Richard) Mohler of Westerville.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, January 5, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Stuart Wyatt officiating. 

Visitation is from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
