First boys hoops poll of season released

The Associated Press released its first boys basketball state poll Monday afternoon, and nine area schools are listed in the initial rankings.

Lima Sr. is No. 8 in Division I, Shawnee is ranked No. 8 in Division II, Versailles is No. 3 and Ottawa-Glandorf is No. 4 in Division III, while five schools are ranked in Division IV: No. 6 Delphos St. John’s, Columbus Grove and Minster (tied for No. 12), No. 16 Antwerp and No. 18 Fort Recovery.
