Lady Knights defeat Continental 55-36

CONTINENTAL — Bailey Gregory poured in 16 points and Lexi Gregory had 14 to lead Crestview past Continental 55-36 on Monday.

All of Bailey Gregory’s points came in the first half, including four treys, as the Lady Knights raced out to an 18-8 lead after one quarter and a 32-9 halftime advantage. The lead was 40-22 after three quarters.

Nine of Lexi Gregory’s points were scored in the fourth quarter and the 5-8 senior guard also pulled down eight rebounds. Olivia Cunningham added nine points for Crestview and Raegan Hammons chipped in with six.

Crestview was 22 of 50 (44 percent) from the floor and 5 of 6 from the free throw line. The Lady Knights held a 35-18 rebounding advantage.

Meanwhile, Continental was held to 11 of 34 (32 percent) shooting, while going 12 of 24 from the foul line.

Crestview (5-6) will host Allen East on Thursday.
