Derryberry chosen to be NWC commish

Administrators of the Northwest Conference have announced that Jon Derryberry has been chosen as the next commissioner of the nine team conference. He’ll replace Jim Raabe, who is resigning at the end of the current school year.

A 1973 Wapakoneta High School graduate, Derryberry has 40 years of basketball officiating experience, 38 years in football officiating and 22 years in softball. He’s also the owner and president of Derryberry and Davis Insurance Agency in Wapakoneta.

Derryberry will begin working with Raabe and will transition into the commissioner position this fall.
