Nominations are needed for this week’s Van Wert independent/Northwest Ohio Welch Trophy Student Athlete of the Week.

Area winter sports coaches and athletic director may nominate any athlete from any varsity sport by emailing sports@thevwindependent.com by 12 p.m. on Tuesday.

The winner will be featured on Friday’s Sports page.
