Cunningham wins weekly award

Crestview High School’s Olivia Cunningham is this week’s Van Wert independent/Northwest Ohio Welch Trophy Student Athlete of the week. The 5-7 junior guard, who was nominated by Athletic Administrator Trent Kreischer, is a rare two-time winner of the award, having won it in December of 2018. She averages 10.5 points per game and scored 21 against Delphos Jefferson Thursday night. Along with basketball, Cunningham plays softball for the Lady Knights. Scott Truxell/Van Wert independent
