Archers roll past Lincolnview 72-44

ANTWERP — State ranked and undefeated Antwerp was red hot from the floor, going 29 of 46 (63 percent) on the way to a 72-44 win over Lincolnview on Saturday night.

Leading 12-5 entering the second quarter, the Archers (13-0, No. 16 in Division IV) seized control with a 26-8 scoring edge, including a 19-2 scoring blitz to end the half. Jagger Landers scored seven of his game high 17 points during the run to give Antwerp a 38-13 halftime lead, which was extended to 58-27 after three quarters.

In addition to Landers, three other Archers finished in double figures. Blake Schuette scored 15, Jayvin Landers 11, and Luke Crouse 10. Jagger Landers had a team high nine rebounds and Jayvin leads finished with a team leading eight assists. Overall, Antwerp had a 33-17 rebounding advantage.

Lincolnview was led by Creed Jesseeā€™s 12 points, while Landon Price finished with 10.

The Lancers (6-7) will travel to Allen East on Friday then will host Parkway on Saturday (5 p.m. junior varsity start). Antwerp will travel to Hicksville on Friday.
