Girls basketball sectional draws held

Girls basketball sectional tournament draws were held on Sunday.

Van Wert is the No. 8 seed and will play No. 9 seed Shawnee in the Division II sectional at Spencerville at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, February 18. The winner will advance to play No. 2 seed Bath at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, February 18. The sectional champion will advance to the Paulding district.

In Division IV, No. 11 seed Lincolnview will face No. 13 seed Hilltop at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, at Paulding High School. The winner will play No. 2 seed Ottoville for the sectional title at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, February 18.

No. 3 seed Crestview will play No. 10 seed Ayersville at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, with the winner advancing to the sectional championship game against No. 7 seed Edon or No. 8 seed Edgerton at 8 p.m. Saturday, February 22. Sectional champions will move on to the Defiance district.
