Lincolnview wins regular season finale

A 19-3 second quarter scoring advantage sparked Lincolnview to a 45-31 Northwest Conference win over Ada in the regular season finale on Thursday.

The Lady Lancers trailed 8-5 after the first quarter, but Kendall Bollenbacher scored 10 of her 15 points in the second period, while Lana Carey added five to help give Lincolnview a 24-11 halftime lead. Bollenbacher also pulled down 14 rebounds.

Balanced scoring gave the Lady Lancers a 37-20 lead entering the fourth quarter.

Carey finished with nine for Lincolnview and Annie Mendenhall added seven. Ada’s Courtney Sumner led all scorers with 16.

Lincolnview (4-18, 2-6 NWC) will play Hilltop in the Division IV sectional semifinals at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Paulding.
