VWES sets spring concerts…

Spring is right around the corner and students at Van Wert Elementary are inviting members of the community to celebrate their spring music programs with them. Second- and fourth-grade students will perform Monday, March 2. Second-graders plan to have a whale of a time performing their “Baby Beluga” set at 6:30 p.m., while fourth-graders will follow at 7:45 that evening. A variety of instruments will join them on stage as they perform “We’re Making Music”. First-grade students will perform “Baby Beluga” together on Monday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m., with third-graders following with “We’re Making Music” at 7:45 that evening. Fifth-grade students will celebrate their DARE graduation on Friday, March 27, at 1 p.m. Officer Greg Blackmore will conduct the ceremony, with students performing a song for the audience.
