Women’s Suffrage event set at Niswonger

The Niswonger Performing Arts Center and Brumback Library (in coordination with American Association of University Women), Van Wert High School, and the YWCA of Van Wert County are hosting a free event at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 5, in the NPAC’s First Federal Lecture Hall to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage. 

Featured speaker Shelley Kotz will impersonate Lucretia Mott during the presentation, with a collaborative discussion on peripheral 19th Amendment issues to follow. Guests are invited to attend and pay tribute and thanks for this momentous anniversary achievement and what it means to the generations of women who followed.
