Parkway to play for regional championship

BOWLING GREEN — In the school’s first ever regional boys’ basketball appearance, Parkway rallied from a 14-7 first quarter deficit, then held off Tiffin Calvert 44-42 at Bowling Green State University on Tuesday.

Caleb Kinney led Parkway with a double-double, 14 points and 11 rebounds. Dylan Hughes and Caden Slusher each finished with nine points.

The win puts the Panthers (19-7) in Friday’s Division IV regional championship game against No. 1 Columbus Grove (26-0). The Bulldogs beat Antwerp 55-50 to advance to Friday’s title game at the Stroh Center.
