Patricia Louise Fellers

The Fellers family is sad to announce the passing of Patricia Louise Fellers on March 20, 2020. Pat passed away as a result of extended illness while at Van Wert Manor. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Gorman and Thelma Hurst Gorman; a brother, Dan (Linda) Gorman; her husband Bill J. Fellers; and a son, Chris Fellers. 

Survivors include a brother, Jerry (Cheryl) Gorman; four remaining sons, Patrick (Mary Jane), Kelly (Rodney), Bill (Lisa), and Kent; four grandchildren, Nick, Megan, Cathleen, and Garrett; and seven great-grandchildren, Will, Molly, Rosie, Kit, Luca, Miles, and Luma. 

Pat was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1932, but spent several years living at the Marsh Foundation in Van Wert, due to the early death of her parents. She was active in the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Twigs, and the Red Hat Society. She spent several years working in the medical insurance community, as well as being a board member and tour guide for the YWCA in Van Wert.

Because of national health concerns, Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory and the Fellers family are following directives outlined by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine limiting attendance to the visitation and funeral service to immediate family only. There will be a Celebration of Life available to all friends and family at a later date.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday March 24, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, with only the immediate family present. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert. The funeral mass will be live-streamed at www.alspachgearhart.com.
