VW woman faces drug counts in Logan Co.

BELLEFONTAINE — A Van Wert woman is currently in a Logan County jail on felony drug charges after being arrested in a service station parking lot in Bellefontaine.
According to Bellefontaine radio stations WPKO-FM and WBLL-AM, Kelly McKenzie, 57, faces charges of conveying drugs into a detention facility, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule III drug, and possession of marijuana in connection with her arrest early Sunday morning.
Law enforcement was called to a Marathon service station in Bellefontaine at ab out 4:50 a.m. Sunday on the report of a suspicious person in the parking lot.
During a records check, McKenzie was found to be wanted on a statewide warrant issued in Ashland County, while several bottles of pills with other people’s names on them, a baggie of suspected methamphetamine, Suboxone pills without a prescription, and a small bag of marijuana were found in her bags.
