ODOT lists VW County highway projects

LIMA — The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Van Wert County this week according to the Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 1. All outlined work is weather permitting.

• U.S. 30, between Ohio 49 and the Indiana state line, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for crack sealing operations. Work is being performed by the Van Wert County maintenance garage.
• U.S. 30 over U.S. 127 will be restricted through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the Van Wert County maintenance garage.
• Ohio 49, between Van Wert-Paulding County Road/Township Road 12 and Elm Sugar Grove Church Road, approximately a half-mile south of the Paulding County line, will close on April 20 for five days for culvert repair. Work will be performed by the ODOT Paulding County maintenance garage.
  Detour: U.S. 30 to County Road 1 to Ohio 114, back to Ohio 49 (see map).
• Ohio 697, between Ohio 116 and the city of Delphos, will close on May 4 for approximately five days for pavement repair. The work will be performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.
  Detour: Ohio 116 to Ohio 81 to Ohio 66, back to Ohio 697 (see detour).
