Humane Society donation…

Jeff Hood, Van Wert County Humane Society board member, is shown receiving $1,000 from Allan Scott of Scott Financial Services.  Scott pledged $1,000 to the society’s capital campaign earlier this year after learning of its plans to build a new animal shelter/adoption center on Fox Road. Construction on the new facility is expected to begin in July. Humane Society photo
