New scholarships for adult ed students

Up to $50,000 in new scholarships are being made available for select adult education students at Vantage Career Center.

The Van Wert County Foundation is launching the scholarship program for current students in the CDL, STNA and welding programs for select adult education programs in partnership with Vantage Career The program is intended to provide funding for participants who would otherwise be unable to finance these educational opportunities.

To qualify for consideration, potential applicants must be a resident of Van Wert County and be enrolled at Vantage Career Center in one of the three qualified programs. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate the intent of employment in Van Wert County upon completion of the program. To access funding, applicants should complete the application online at vantagecareercenter.com.
