Wards to change…

A formal vote will be held in late December, but Van Wert Council has agreed to balance out each of the city’s four wards by slightly adjusting the ward boundaries. Council clerk Drew Bittner provided Council members with the city’s current boundaries and population by ward (above) and after examining four different options, Council members chose Option C (below). The change will take effect with the 2023 elections.
