Optimist Club donation…

Greg Kulwicki of the Convoy Lions Club visited the Optimist Club of Van Wert meeting on Thursday to talk about service projects the Lions Club does for the community. Specifically, he mentioned the ramps the Lions build for disabled folks and the ROAR reading program for third-grade students at Crestview Local Schools. As a community service, the Convoy Lions also cover three of the 11 routes for the Optimist Club “Avenue of Flags” project. In appreciation for their assistance, the Optimist Club presented a donation for $1,000 to the Convoy Lions Club. Photo submitted
