US 30 crash…

This semi-truck wreck shut down eastbound US 30 at the Lincoln Highway overpass in Tully Township for about eight hours. It happened at 8:40 Sunday night when the trucker, Jay Notz, 75, of Wisconsin, drifted off the road into the median before going back onto the highway and striking a guardrail, a culvert and bridge pillar. According to the Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Notz suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Van Wert Health by Convoy Fire and EMS. US 30 was shut down until approximately 4:30 this morning for recovery efforts, bridge inspection and the crash investigation.
