VWPD investigating gunshot fatality

The Van Wert Police Department continues to investigate a weekend gunshot fatality.

A brief press release from Lt. Robert Black stated police and EMS were dispatched to a home on South Tyler Street Sunday afternoon. The release confirmed one person was dead but due to the ongoing investigation, no other information was released.
