Paying respects…

Middle Point Boy Scouts of America Troop 32 presented seven wreaths at Van Wert Woodland Cemetery on Saturday, December 18. Each wreath was placed to honor a branch of the military, as well as one for veterans missing in action. Scouts participating in the ceremony were Alan Matarese, Evan Ellington, Gavin Priest, and Logan Taylor. Isaac Van Wert Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) were proud to assist the Boy Scouts with sponsoring local wreaths and helping laying wreaths on veterans graves. Each veteran’s name was read aloud, followed by a moment of silence when placing the wreath. Photo submitted
