Lady Lancer, Lancer hoops teams defeated

Both of Lincolnview’s varsity basketball teams hit the road Wednesday night and both suffered losses.

Miller City 63 Lincolnview 41 (girls)

MILLER CITY — The combination of Abi Lammers and Carley Hermiller was too much for Lincolnview Wednesday night.

Lammers scored 27 points, pulled down 16 rebounds and had eight assists for the Wildcats, while Hermiller added 21 points to help Miller City to a 63-41 win.

Miller City led 14-9 after one quarter and 30-19 at halftime but the big blow came in the third quarter when the hosts outscored the Lady Lancers 22-10 to take a 52-29 lead into the final period.

Kendall Bollenbacher led Lincolnview with a double-double, 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Lincolnview (5-4) will return to action December 30 at Van Wert.

Kalida 61 Lincolnview 23 (boys)

KALIDA — At Kalida, the Wildcats defeated Lincolnview 61-23 on Wednesday.

Kalida jumped out to a sizable lead in the first quarter, then led 36-13 at halftime and 55-18 after three quarters. Justin Siebeneck led all scorers with 13 points while Ethan Crow had a team high 10 points for Lincolnview.

The Lancers (2-4) will host Upper Scioto Valley tonight.
