Moose Lodge donation…

You’ve heard the old saying that Christmas came late. Van Wert County United Way Executive Director Vicki Smith had that experience this year. Brent Agler from Van Wert Moose Lodge 1320 came to her office to give their annual donation to United Way. As the two were getting ready for the picture Vicki looked at the check and thought he said $727 but the gift was actually $7,227, leaving Smith speechless for a moment. After a tough year due to COVID-19, she said the sizable donation will help the United Way get many campaigns back up and running. Photo submitted
