New VW Chief of Police to be sworn in

Van Wert’s new Chief of Police will be sworn in Tuesday.

Lt. Doug Weigle will replace Joel Hammond, who officially retired on Friday. A swearing in ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Council Chambers.
