Yvonne L. Snyder

Yvonne L. Snyder, 95, of Dublin, passed away at 5:08 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Dublin Methodist Hospital.

She was born on December 31, 1926, in Van Wert, the daughter of Walter Lee and Vera B. (Walters) Leatherman, who both preceded her in death. On December 25, 1947, she married Ralph Benjamin Snyder December 25, 1947, and he preceded her in death October 25, 1990. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Roger L. Leatherman.

Family survivors include her brother-in-law, Glen D. (Janet) Snyder of Mooresville, North Carolina; a niece, Kira (Leatherman) Bryant Gary of Ypsilanti, Michigan; two nephews, Kurt Leatherman of Van Wert and Pete Leatherman of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and numerous nephews and nieces on the Snyder side.

She was a registered pharmacist as of August 1, 1950 and worked for several years at The Bridge Pharmacy in Gahanna. Yvonne then assisted her husband in his interior design and furniture business in Columbus on West Broad Street. She graduated from Van Wert High School and The Ohio State University.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2022, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, with Rev. Chris Farmer officiating. Interment will follow at Van Wert Woodland Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Monday.
